Recently I have noticed that every business or organization has adopted a purpose or missions statement that is used to help set the agenda of the organization. In Matthew 28:19-20, the Lord has given every church and all believers the mission of:
1) Evangelizing the unsaved
2) Discipling the saved

Sunday School must have a structure to carry out the mission that Christ has given the church. Therefore, the task of our Sunday School at First Baptist is to:

1) Reach People- through weekly outreach
2) Teach People- through Sunday morning small group Bible study
3) Minister to People- through Sunday School class CARE Group Leaders

Through the three-fold task of our Sunday School, we desire to build and nurture relationships. Relationships are the best things that we have to offer: one with the risen Christ and another with those for whom He died.
