This Sunday, as we continue in Tell Me The Story Of Jesus, we will look at Luke 11:1-13, and learn about “Praying With Confidence.” 

In this incredible text, our Lord teaches us about how to pray and to Whom we are praying.  When we know those things, we can pray with joyful, expectant confidence!  Read over the text and meditate on it and be praying for the service this Sunday.  

And remember:  Every service in our church is an opportunity to bring someone with you to hear the gospel.  You can be certain that you can bring your friend to any service here and they will hear the life-changing good news of Jesus, and they will meet lots of friendly people who will love them.   

But we need you to get them here.  How?  Pray and invite…pray and invite…pray and invite…. Perhaps there is one more element needed as well: Invest.  Get involved in the lives of those who don’t yet know Jesus.  Love on them, care for them, share with them.  As we are going through Luke, is this not what we are seeing Jesus do?  He came to seek and to save the lost.  Let’s be on mission with him.
