This Sunday, December 8^th, is one of the highlights of the year at FBC – our Ingathering for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  Our goal is $60,000…for the last, the least, and the lost.  What more important gift could you give this Christmas?  There isn’t one.  Our IMB missionaries rely on this offering to be able to be sent to the field and to be able to stay on the field, where they are shining the light of Christ in the darkest places.  Pray about your gift.  Give sacrificially, even as we thank God for a Savior who loved us and gave Himself for us!  At the end of the service, you’ll have the opportunity come forward with your gift and spend a few moments in prayer for the nations.  It is an exciting and moving time as we move toward the altar with gifts that will touch the world with the gospel! 

We will also continue in our Advent series on John 1:1-18.  This Sunday, we will look at John 1:6-9 and talk about being “Witnesses Of The Light.”
