This week we will finish our study of James by looking at James 5:5-20.  The message is entitled, “Final Exhortations.” 

In these closing verses of this powerful letter, James gives us some words from the heart.  I can’t wait to unpack them with you on Sunday!

Beginning May 3^rd, we will be walking through Colossians.  Please be praying for this series, which will take us through May and most of the summer.  Colossians is a gem of a letter, and it lifts up the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ like no other. 

It saddened me to learn that many of you received another “scam” email in my name this past week.  What a broken world we live in!  Satan is indeed active in attacking pastors and churches…but our Lord is infinitely stronger.  These attacks are just a reminder to draw near to him.  Take a moment right now to pray for the person who did this.  They clearly need Christ. 

Always be alert to scams.  We get them on our phones regularly, whether in emails or texts.  It is a sad state of affairs, and just another reminder that we live in a world that needs Christ.  But the gospel is no scam.  Let us be faithful in sharing it!
