This week we will be in Genesis 10-11, finishing our Back to the Beginning series on Genesis 1-11.  We’ll look at Genesis 10:1-11:32, which is all about “Human Folly…God’s Faithfulness.” 

It has been really fulfilling this Fall to walk through Genesis 1-11 with you!  As we’ve seen, the first eleven chapters of the Bible lay the foundation for the rest. 

For Advent, we will continue this story by looking at Genesis 12-15, which is all about how God is creating a new worldwide family.   Through Abraham’s seed comes the Savior, whose birth we celebrate at Christmas!  Our Christmas series will be called Number The Stars. 

I’m excited about this Christmas series, but before that, excited to dig into Genesis 10-11 with you this Sunday.  We will also celebrate the Lord’s Supper together as we prepare our hearts for Thanksgiving.
