This Sunday we will be in John 19:1-42 as we look at the crucifixion of our Lord.  The message is entitled, “Here Is Your King.”

This will be the perfect text to prepare us for The Lord’s Supper at the end of the service.  As Christians, we can never hear too much about the cross and blood of Jesus. 

As Fanny Crosby wrote, “Jesus, keep me near the cross.”  Pray that we will draw near to it this Sunday, and that the Holy Spirit will use communion to draw us closer to Christ and one another.
