This Sunday we will be in John 15:1-27 as we think about what it means to “Abide.”

The great chapters just keep coming in the Gospel of John, don’t they?  Once again we are coming to a classic this Sunday.  What a joy it has been to walk through this amazing book with you!

Let’s keep our students in our prayers during their camp experience this week.  We have a big group of students and adults from FBC…let’s pray that our great God will do big things in them at MFUGE.

Be in prayer for this Sunday.  As Jesus tells us in John 15:5, “Apart from me you can do nothing.”  We need the anointing of God on all we seek to do.  So pray for the Spirit to work through the Word to produce fruit. 

Part of being a fruit-bearing Christian is reaching out to others.  Specifically, who can you contact about the service this Sunday?  Make that call.  Shoot that text.  Have that conversation.  Issue that invitation.  People need the Lord.
