As you read this, I will be enjoying some rest with family at the Outer Banks.  But you don’t want to miss this Sunday, as Toby DeBause comes to bring God’s Word.  Toby came to preach for us a few years ago, and the response to his message was overwhelming.   

Toby is a dear friend and a gifted communicator.  He serves as President of the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater, where he is right on the front lines of the fight for life. 

Our church is deeply involved in this fight as well.  Each week, expectant moms are meeting on our campus, receiving love and support as they prepare to have their precious babies.  They have come in contact with the Crisis Pregnancy Center, they then come in contact with some of our FBC people, and they then come in contact with the good news of a Savior who loves them and their babies!  That ministry is called “Great Expectations.”  It is part of our partnership with the Crisis Pregnancy Center, and the CPC could not have a better leader than Toby DeBause.

I am so thankful for Toby’s heart.  He loves Christ and loves people.  He is a friend who inspires me, and I know his message will inspire you this Sunday.
