This Sunday, as we get back to John, we will dig into John 18, which is all about the arrest of Jesus in the Garden, his mock trial before the religious authorities in Jerusalem, and his appearance before Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor of Judea. 

As Jesus walks through the events of this fateful night, we see his majestic dignity and love on display.  And we see his statement, “I was born for this” (Jn. 18:37).  So the message this Sunday is “Born For This,” as we look at John 18:1-40.

I’m excited to see you on Sunday, with a Bible in my hand.  Until then, stay close to Jesus.  Abide in Him.  Everything else flows from that.
