This Sunday as we continue in our Believe series through John, we will look at John 4:43-54 as we talk about, “The 2^nd Sign:  Your Son Will Live.” 

The first half of John contains seven signs of the Savior, all of which point to His glory and lead us to trust in Him.  Sunday we will look at the second one and celebrate Baptism and The Lord’s Supper. 

What a joy to see so many new faces at FBC!  I have never seen so many.  This is the wind of the Spirit of God blowing.  Let me encourage you to…

Invite:  The number of new people coming to our church is evidence of the fact that the Spirit is moving.  But as we saw in John 4:35 on Sunday, we must get out there in the fields that are ready for harvest and love people, share Jesus with them, and invite them to church to learn more.  Many will accept your invitation.

Welcome:  Be on the lookout for new faces before and after our worship services, and warmly welcome people.  Introduce yourself.  Learn names.  Let new people know how glad you are they are with us. 

Pray:  God can do things in the lives of people that we cannot do.  He can turn hearts.  He can create spiritual thirst in people.  He can do all kinds of powerful things to draw people to Himself.  So pray for your “one” and for lost/unchurched people in our community, and the people you are around every day who need Jesus and a church like FBC that preaches Him.
