My name is Wilson Caldwell, and it is my privilege to serve and oversee the children, student, and family ministry here at FBC-Suffolk! My lovely wife, Brittany Caldwell, and I have been serving here within FBC-Suffolk since July of 2018. Brittany and I each attended Liberty University where I was a 2013 graduate, and her a 2015 graduate. Upon graduation I began my Master of Divinity-Pastoral Ministry degree through Liberty University Online, completing the degree in December of 2017. Throughout my time of college and seminary I had the pleasure of serving as Student Pastor at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA for over seven and a half years. It was during this time that God truly began to shape my heart for Him first, and then the Kingdom ministry.
Brittany and I possess a passion for coming alongside parents in the discipleship of their children. We believe that true spiritual growth should begin in the home, and we desire to be a part of developing an environment where this is regularly taking shape. We enjoy finding opportunities to get to know people and develop relationships where we invest the truth of Christ into their lives and then challenge them to do the same with others! Background: Wilson a native of Buckingham, VA, joined our pastoral staff on July 1, 2018. He received his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Liberty University in December of 2017. His undergraduate studies were completed at Liberty University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Religion and Youth Ministry. Wilson and Brittany have two daughters, Karis & Kadence.
