This spring we will seek to understand how we as a body of believers can better engage with those around us in order to share the gospel. We have a command to share with those around us and it is vital that we are active in sharing our faith. Yet somehow, we hesitate.
As a church, are setting aside 30 days of prayer (March 1-30).
The 30-Day Emphasis will:
- Challenge believers toward praying for the lost and sharing their faith.
- Challenge believers to look around them to identify persons with whom they can have gospel conversations.
- Help us focus on prayer as a church as we look to God for the drawing of persons to faith.
- Help members understand the simplicity of sharing the gospel naturally with others.
- Challenge us for five Sundays to have a focus on prayer and on giving a challenge toward persons sharing their faith with their One.
- Move us toward the goal of prioritizing personal ownership regarding the Great Commission as we each intentionally pursue one person with the hope of the gospel.
