It was great to get started with our new series on Sunday!  In this Upper Room series, we will get training in discipleship from Jesus Himself!  He takes us into the Upper Room to send us back out into a world that needs Him…on mission.  

Speaking of missions, I just can’t stop praising God for enabling our church to meet our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goal of $60,000.  So thankful to God for what He is doing in the hearts of our people, to open our hearts to His mission and want to give generously to it.  Every penny will be used to shine the light of the gospel in the darkest places, that lives may be transformed by the love of Christ, for all eternity.  Thank you for your giving!  

This Sunday is Sanctity of Life Sunday in the SBC.  We remember on this day the biblical teaching that human life is precious, from womb to tomb.  I have invited Toby DeBause, the President of the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater, to share a special message with us from God’s Word.  You will not want to miss this.  Toby will expound what the Bible teaches on this subject, and how our church can be even more involved in this precious ministry, which saves lives and makes disciples.
