Kid's Ministry

FBC Kids

Children ages 5 years old through 5th grade at First Baptist Church are known as FBC Kids. Our desire is to teach God's Word in a practical way that children can understand and provide opportunities to develop their own gifts. Children are taught important principles from the Bible, God's Word. Children learn about God's love through various activities designed to meet their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
Throughout the year, a variety of activities are planned to give children a much needed opportunity to develop close and supporting relationships with Christian friends as well as caring, Christian adults. I invite your child, 5 years old through 5th grade to be a part of our FBC Kids activities!

SUNDAY

Our Children’s Ministry Sunday School classes for grades K-5^th meet Sundays from 9:00-10:15 AM. Classes meet in the Children's Area on the 3rd floor. Here are a few things you will need to know when you arrive:

1. We require all children to be checked-in by their parent(s) or guardian(s) at the Check-in Desk located in the Family Gathering Area, prior to coming to the 3rd floor. 

2. We kindly ask that you pick-up your children promptly at the close of class. Children will not be released without a parent or guardian present.

WEDNESDAY

Join us for Awana on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 PM. Our Awana program meets most weeks Fall/Winter/Spring for children ages 3 yo-5th grade.  For complete details go to fbcsuffolk.org/awana.

PRESCHOOL SUNDAY AM

Our FBC Preschool Ministry is available weekly for ages Birth-Pre-K during Sunday School 9:00-10:15 AM. Nursery is provided from 9:00-11:30 AM. The Preschool & Nursery Department is located on the 1st Floor near our Check-in Desk. Here are a few things you will need to know when you arrive:  

1. We require all preschoolers to be checked-in by their parent(s) or guardian(s) at the Check-in Desk located in the Family Gathering Area.                                                                                                               
2. We kindly ask that you pick-up your children promptly after Sunday School (or after Morning Worship Service for ages newborn-3 yo). Children will not be released without a parent or guardian present.
