Wow, what a wonderful Sunday we had last week at FBC!  While we have not quite experienced the breezes of Fall rolling in yet, there is definitely a new breeze blowing at our church. 

How tremendous to walk into the Welcome Center and see ladies packing it out, having a great time at “Fill My Cup.”  Then, to see people baptized and committing their lives to Christ in our service, to pray over a mission team headed to Uganda, and to see our whole congregation headed out into the community to reach their “ones” for Christ…awesome!  Awana and Student Home Groups also got off to a tremendous start on Sunday night. 

We are also excited about the interest in Deeper Life classes this Fall.  “Gospel Conversations” on Sunday nights, as well as “The Trinity,” a women’s study of “James,” and “Explore the Bible” on Wednesday nights.  And…on Wednesday mornings at 9:30, a Bible Study Fellowship women’s study of Acts.  Also a new growth opportunity for kids on Wednesday nights called “What’s Up?”  

So what’s up is that we are off and rolling on a new church year!  

Be in prayer for this Sunday as we continue with Who’s Your One?  We will look at Mark 2:1-12 and talk about “The Courage To Reach Your One.”  And let me encourage you to be using the prayer guide you received on Sunday to pray for your “one.”  I’ll see you this Sunday!
