Pastor Post - April 18, 2018

This Sunday we will look at Romans 6:5-14 and talk about “Living Out Our Freedom In Christ.”

Last week in verses 1-4 we talked about the fact that we have been freed from sin’s tyranny. This week we’ll talk about the practical implications of that.

As Christians, we live in the already/not yet. What do I mean by that? Well, our salvation has already been accomplished, but we are not yet glorified.

We are sort of like the Israelites after God delivered them from slavery in Egypt. They had been redeemed, but they were not yet in the Promised Land.

So how do we live “between the times?” Positionally, we are already dead to sin and alive to God. But practically, how do we live out our freedom?

That’s what we’ll talk about Sunday, in one of the most important passages in the Bible in regard to growing in Christ. I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
