Pastor Post - April 13, 2022

There is no day for the Christian like Easter Sunday, when we celebrate the fact that trumps everything – Jesus is risen!!

What can we do to get ready?

Pray:  Be asking the Holy Spirit to speak to you during these Holy Days, and open your eyes to the wonders of hope of the gospel.  Be praying for believers around the world.  And be praying for lost people around the world, beginning with ones that you know.

Invite:  Reach out to friends and family members who are not yet in Christ or who are not actively involved in a local church, and invite them to meet you at FBC on Easter Sunday.  Tell them, “It would mean so much to have you with me.  Let’s sit together.”  You might even want to make lunch plans with them.

Read:  Read over 1 Corinthians 15, which we will cover substantial parts of this Sunday, as we look at what will happen “In the Twinkling of an Eye.”  What significance does Christ’s resurrection have for our own?  What does it mean to be “raised imperishable?”  Let’s talk about it on Resurrection Day!
