Pastor Post - August 19, 2020

This week in Summer in the Psalms we will dig into a Psalm that is quoted more than any other in the New Testament.  In fact, it contains a verse that is quoted in the New Testament more than any other Old Testament verse.

Psalm 110 is another Royal Psalm.  It has some similarities with Psalm 2, which we looked at earlier in this series.  Here in Psalm 110, we see another majestic portrait of Christ.  We see him as King, as Priest, and as Warrior.

I hope you’ll be ready Sunday morning with a Bible in your hand.  In fact, take some time this week to read and pray through Psalm 110, and perhaps look at some of the New Testament passages that quote from Psalm 110.  Why does the New Testament cite it so often?  We’ll talk about it on Sunday, as we lift up Christ, who is “The King, the Priest, the Warrior.”

I’ll see you then, in person at 8:30 or 10, or online at 10.

By His Grace, For His Glory, To The Nations,
