This week we will continue in our study of Romans, digging into Romans 10:5-10 – one of the clearest passages in Scripture about how we enter into the salvation God has provided in Jesus. We’ll talk about “Such A Great Salvation!” 

After worship, you are invited to come over to the Family Life Center for a lunch in honor of Michael and Mary Jane Turner, on their last Sunday at FBC. We will rejoice in the fruitful and faithful ministry of 17 years that God has given them in our church family, and we will send them off to Redemption Heights Church, in Philadelphia, with our prayers and blessing! I hope you’ll be in worship and join us for lunch afterwards. Please bring sides or desserts – especially sides. 

This past week I spoke about a great opportunity we have in giving during the month of August. We are very close to meeting our annual budget – closer than we have been in years. If we are able to meet it and exceed it over the next three Sundays, anything we give over the budget will go directly into our On Mission fund.
