Pastor Post - December 10, 2019

This week we will continue in our journey through the prologue of John, as we look at John 1:6-13 and talk about what it means to be “Children of God!”

Isn’t John 1:1-18 incredibly rich?  We’ll bring out more of these treasures this Sunday.

Last Sunday our Ingathering service was sort of the “kick-off” for our season of Lottie Moon giving.  As of this writing we have collected over $33,000 toward our goal of $65,000.  We will continue to collect for this over the next few Sundays and on Christmas Eve.  (Many of you give to this offering throughout the year).

Speaking of Christmas Eve, I hope you’ll take advantage of the beautiful outreach cards that have been prepared.  You’ll find them scattered around the church, and they are for you to give to friends.  Our Christmas Eve service will be at 5pm, and it will include a very clear presentation of the gospel.  Many of your friends and family members will be receptive to an invitation to be at this service.  Reach out to them!

It was so wonderful to see so many women and girls at the “Fill My Cup” women’s ministry event on Sunday, and so encouraging to hear great testimonies from ladies who were blessed by it.  Great job, FBC Women’s Ministry!

Keep our Thailand team and our Romania team in your prayers.  I’ll see you on Sunday!
