Pastor Post - December 20, 2023
By the time this reaches you, it may be Christmas – or past Christmas – but I pray that you are enjoying the holidays and drawing close to Jesus!
This weekend is a special one, as Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday. We have two great services planned:
- On the December 24th morning service, we will continue in our Home for Christmas series by looking at Psalm 2, and talking about “The Son of Home.” This is a great text to help us celebrate the King who was born as a baby, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is coming again to reign.
- In the December 24th evening service, I will do a brief and very evangelistic message from Psalm 23. The theme will be “Welcome Home.” Invite your friends to come! We will celebrate candlelight communion together, and it will be a beautiful time of worship.
We have so much to be thankful for: By God’s grace, we met our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goal of $60,000 very early this year! Thank you for your heart for the nations, church family!
May God bless you during these final days before Christmas and prepare your heart for a fantastic 2024 as you walk closely with Him.
By His Grace, For His Glory, To The Nations,
Dr. Thurman Hayes, Jr.
