This Sunday in our study of Isaiah, we will look at Isaiah 51:1-8, as we look at the subject, “Breakout From Discouragement.” 

Discouragement is one of Satan’s most sinister weapons, which he frequently employs to beat us up and steal our joy.  Therefore, we should battle against it.  How can we experience breakthrough in this area?  Let’s talk about it this Sunday.  

Last week, many of our classes and members participated in preparing and delivering meals to the homeless, through the CAPS (Coalition Against Poverty in Suffolk) ministry.  We were able to make and deliver 840 meals, shining forth the love of Christ to needy people in our city.   

Whether in our community or across the seas, FBC-Suffolk is on mission.  I’m thankful to be a part of it with you.
