Pastor Post - February 2, 2022

It was so great to be back in church this past Sunday!  What a wonderful, Spirit-filled service God gave us.  God is at work in our church, despite Covid, and despite weather events for three straight weekends.

I was reflecting earlier this week about some of the things that had happened in just the past day or so:

  • New people baptized.
  • A new ministry launched with the Crisis Pregnancy Center, and so many of our people stepping up and being willing to serve in it.
  • An exciting virtual meeting with some of our international missionaries, with plans for partnership.
  • Seeing so many of our people serving in the CAPS overnight stay, and others preparing meals for the homeless.

Nothing can stop the work of the gospel!  FBC is carrying out our mission, which is “To glorify Christ by making disciples who make disciples, in our community and around the world.”

This Sunday, in our Upper Room series, we will look at John 14:1-14.  Wow, I am so enjoying this series!  John 13-17 is just one of the richest parts of the Word.  How exciting it is to walk through it with you.

I’ll see you this Sunday, with a Bible in my hand.

His Grace, For His Glory, To The Nations,
