This week as we continue in Living Hope: A Study Of 1 Peter, we will look at 1 Peter 3:8-12 and talk about “Hope And The Good Life.” 

Our culture thinks of “the good life” in terms of materialism and self-indulgence. But 1 Peter 3:8-12 offers an invitation to the truly good life, a life of genuine joy and fulfillment. Let’s dig into it together on Sunday. 

What a joy this week to welcome Josh and Shannon Hrinda to our church family. Josh is our new Associate Pastor of Discipleship, and he is already on the job and hard at work. This is a sweet couple, and God is going to use them greatly here. Josh has hit the ground running, and will be a great blessing as he helps us fulfill our vision of “making disciples who make disciples.” Shannon is already putting her love for children to work. In fact, she was here this week meeting about our upcoming VBS. This couple is going to make a great impact! 

I’ll see you this Sunday morning. Come prayed up, and be thinking about this question: “Who can I invite to meet me at FBC?” You have people in your life who need the Lord, and they would be open to a personal invitation from you.
