This Sunday, as we continue with our study of the Sermon on the Mount, we will look at Matthew 5:13-16, as we talk about what it means for God’s people to be salt and light.  In short, it means “Impacting Others For The Glory Of God.” 

• Why does Jesus use these two images, salt and light?
• Is there an Old Testament background that will help us understand what it means to shine the light of Christ?
• What does this text say about glorifying God?
• What does this text say about missions? 

Speaking of missions, it has been great the past couple of weeks to hear from our Thailand and Romania teams.  What an exciting thing to know that FBC is so connected to the global mission of God through our praying, going, and giving. 

Speaking of giving, we are almost there on our Lottie Moon offering!  As it stands right now, we are at around $60,000…only $5000 away from our goal.  Be open to the Spirit’s prompting to help us meet it…for the glory of God.
