We are off and running in our new series, Tell Me The Story Of Jesus, in which we are walking through Luke.  What a thrilling story this is!  We are especially focusing in this series on texts that are unique to Luke’s gospel.  

This Sunday we’ll do that again.  The story that is told in Luke 7:11-17 is found only in Luke.  It is a stunning display of our Lord’s merciful compassion and mighty power.  It looks back to the Old Testament and forward to His own resurrection.  It is beautiful and rich.  I can’t wait to dig into it with you this Sunday, as we talk about what happens “When God Visits His People.” 

We are so excited to celebrate with Wilson and Brittany in the birth of Kadence!  What a wonderful thing to be born into a godly family.  Pray for Kadence as she grows, and Wilson and Brittany as they raise her and Karis in the love of the Lord. 

See you on Sunday morning.  Reach out to a friend and invite them to join you.  Perhaps you could make plans to have lunch with them afterward, so you can grow your friendship and talk with them about the message you just heard.  Situations like that are golden opportunities to “tell the story of Jesus.”
