I am so thankful for Lindsay stepping in for me last week, and am looking forward to being back with you this Sunday, as we look at:

Acts 19:11-41

“Smashing Idols”

Chapter 19 of Acts details Paul’s ministry in the key city of Ephesus, and the radical impact of the gospel on the people of that city. 

As you read over these verses, ponder the following: 

• How should we think about the reality of demonic forces in our world? 
• What clean breaks do we need to make with the sins of our old life? 
• How does the gospel result in social change? 
• How does the gospel destroy idols? 

This chapter is crucial as we consider the implications of our new lives in Christ. I’m looking forward to seeing you on Sunday as we dig into Acts 19. 

Also on Sunday night we will hear a report from those who participated in Mission Fuge and Centri Kid. God has been working this summer through these camps, and we’ll get to hear what He has been doing in the hearts and lives of students and children. It’s going to be a great Sunday. See you then.
