Pastor Post - July 5, 2017

This week we will be in Acts 17, a chapter in which Paul ministers in three different cities: Thessalonica, Berea, and Athens. There is tons of excitement in each situation. Never a dull moment in Acts!

As you read over Acts 17, notice the differences in the people of the three cities, and how Paul deals with them in different ways. The gospel never changes, but our approach to different people groups must be. Part of being an effective witness is understanding the people around us.

So Acts 17 helps us in “Being Ambassadors For Christ” around different types of people.

It was wonderful to welcome our Haiti team home. Thank you so much for your prayers and support for them. The trip provided fantastic ministry opportunities, and they are already itching to go back. It is so awesome to see God working so powerfully among our people. It is so encouraging to see others saying to God, “Lord, send me! I’m ready to go to the hard places and do hard things for your glory.” Others who can’t go are saying, “I am ready to send others.”

What a privilege to pastor a people like that. See you Sunday.

By His Grace, For His Glory, To The Nations,

Dr. Thurman Hayes, Jr.
