What a joy to worship our Risen King and celebrate Mother’s Day this past Sunday!  It was such a blessing to see so many of you there with your families.  

Speaking of family, Melissa and I are so grateful to our church family for consistently being so supportive of ours.  This past week and weekend we celebrated both of our daughters graduating.  Courtney is headed into nursing, which she has wanted to do since she was a little girl, and Cassidy is headed into the business world, with a  concentration on marketing.  She will be helping businesses with their social media, marketing, and branding.  We are so thankful for both of them, and thankful that you as our church family have helped us love on Caleb, Courtney, and Cassidy as we raised them!  We will continue to be a church that is leaning forward in ministry to children, students, and families.  

This Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper and look at Luke 18:1-8 as we talk about “Praying With Hopeful Perseverance.” Read over the text and pray for the service.  

Finally, what a joy to welcome David and Lela Joyner this past Sunday.  David and Lela, our FBC family welcomes you with love!
