Pastor Post - November 25, 2020

What a sweet blessing to focus on Thanksgiving this past Sunday, as we looked at 1 Chronicles 16, and then to take the Lord’s Supper.  I hope you’re having a wonderful Thanksgiving week.

It was also a blessing this past Sunday to present  a check for $10,000 to help with refugee work in Bangkok.  The COVID crisis has produced a heartbreaking humanitarian crisis in many parts of the world, and our Christian workers need more help than ever as they seek to meet the moment with the love of Christ.

Along those lines, this Sunday our focus will be missions, as we prepare for our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  To do that, we are going to look at Psalm 67, which contains this powerful statement: “Let The Nations Be Glad!”

Be reading over Psalm 67 in advance.  As part of my message, I’ll give a status report on the work of our IMB missionaries, IMB’s goals for the future, and how we can be a part of that.  It will be an exciting time.  This message will get right to the heartbeat of God for the lost, and help us have his heart, as we are swept up into his purposes.

I love you, church family.  Happy Thanksgiving and I’ll see you on Sunday!

By His Grace, For His Glory, To The Nations,
