Pastor Post - November 3, 2021

This Sunday, as we continue our study of Esther, we will look at Esther 7, as we learn about “A Tale Of Two Kings.”  No two could be more different than King Ahasuerus and King Jesus, the King of kings.  Let’s talk about it on Sunday.

What amazing time last Friday night at our Fall Festival & Trunk Or Treat!!  It was an absolute joy to see so many families walking around with their children, doing something pure and wholesome that had been provided by our church family.  And what a joy to see so many of our members sharing love and engaging with people in conversation.  It was a massive turnout and we are already looking forward to next year!  Pray that it will bring forth fruit that remains in the lives of people in our community.

As I write on Wednesday morning, Virginians have just spoken at the polls, and it is a new day for our state!  The people of our state said “no” to radical pro-abortion politics, “no” to the idea that the government can basically tell parents to “get out of the way” when it comes to raising their own children, “no” to crazy ideas about gender, and “no” to pitting people against one another on the basis of race.  In short, the people of our state rejected a lot of things that are unbiblical and that are awful for human flourishing.  Let’s pray for Governor Glenn Youngkin, Lt. Governor Winsome Sears, and Attorney General Jason Miyares as they give leadership to our state.

I’ll see you on Sunday.  Bring your Bibles and bring your friends!
