Pastor Post - November 6, 2019

What a sweet time of worship and fellowship we had this past Lord’s Day!  It is such a blessing to experience the sweet spirit in our worship and to see God drawing people to himself.  And thank you so much for the love you showered on our pastors after worship.  You are such a loving church family.

This Sunday we will talk about “Reflecting Our Generous God,” from Malachi 3:6-12.  We will look at our God as the ultimate Giver, and see how he frees us to give…because He gave.

Also we have a couple of special events coming up this weekend:

First, on Friday night at 6:30pm, Miguel and Leslee will be leading us in a night of praise.  This will be a night filled with powerful music and testimonies about the faithfulness of our God.  Many of you have been praying for Miguel, Leslee, and Gabriela, their daughter in the womb, who has been diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a rare and critical heart defect.  Miguel and Leslee will be sharing their spiritual journey of how God has been ministering to them in the midst of this trial.  It will be a blessing.  Continue to faithfully pray for this sweet couple and their baby girl.

Second, on Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm, we will host Country Current, a U.S. Navy country-bluegrass ensemble.  This will be an opportunity to celebrate Veteran’s Day weekend, and a great event to invite friends to – especially if they like country music or bluegrass.  We’ll be able to welcome people to our church, and share our reason for existence – which is the good news of Jesus Christ!

It will be a big weekend.  Hope to see you then!
