Pastor Post - October 18, 2017

This week we will finish our study, The Way of Wisdom, by seeing what Proverbs has to say about Friends and Fools.”

The “fool,” like the “sluggard,” is a character in Proverbs that we don’t want to be – nor do we want to surround ourselves with fools. Instead, we need quality friends.

That’s what we’ll talk about this Sunday. We’ll talk about fools to avoid and friends to seek. Most importantly, we’ll talk about the One who “laid down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).

As we prepare for the Thirst Conference November 5-8, let’s seek the face of God like never before. Please use your 30-day prayer guide, and be giving time to pray for revival in your Bible Study group.

What a joy to see someone else baptized this past Sunday! Be praying for all those whom God has brought to himself recently through the ministry of our church.

These are exciting days for FBC, and it’s going to be exciting this Sunday. I hope to see you there!

By His Grace, For His Glory, To The Nations,
