This Sunday we’ll look at another beautiful prophecy from Isaiah 11:1-9, as we talk about, “When King Jesus Reigns.” 

My mind and heart have been filled to the brim this week with the hope and glory of these verses, and I can’t wait to unpack them on Sunday!  

Also on Sunday we will feature a Team Parent Workshop from 4:30-6pm in the Family Life Center.  Our topic will be “Discipleship in the Home.”  Our pastors have been working hard on this, and we are praying it will be a great blessing to moms and dads.  We’ll have some teaching times and discussion times, and I think it will be really encouraging.  Whether you’re a parent of little ones or teens, you’ll learn some principles that will be helpful and refreshing.  If you’re a grandparent who is helping a lot with grandchildren, or someone who is taking on a parenting type of role in the lives of kids, please know you are more than welcome to attend as well.  

This Sunday we will also be celebrating the ordinances of our faith, as we celebrate baptism at the 10:30 service, and the Lord’s Supper at both 8:30 and 10:30.  It’s going to be a wonderful Lord’s Day.  Hope to see you then!
