This week, as we continue our study of Esther, we come to the moment of crisis: Esther is going to be called upon to risk her life for her people. As her father, Mordecai, tells her, God has put her in her position “for such a time as this.” Will she seek to guard her life, or consider the steadfast love of the Lord better than life? (Psalm 63:3)
Read over our text, Esther 3:7-4:17, as we prepare to think about “Walking With Destiny.”
I am greatly enjoying our study of Esther, especially how it points to Jesus. As the leaves turn and the weather gets cooler, we are looking toward the celebration of Christ’s birth. The Old Testament points to His coming!
What a wonderful joy to welcome Jeanice Sadler this past Sunday! Reach out to her personally when you see her. Jeanice, welcome to the family!
