Pastor Post - September 8, 2021

This Sunday will be an exciting time in the life of our church, as we move Onward Together into a new church year.  The past year and a have been incredibly difficult for churches and for society as a whole, with all the divisions and distancing of Covid. This Sunday we will gather together in one service for the first time since March of 2020.

I am so excited to be able to be able to worship together in one room once again, and also excited that our Sunday School classes will have more time for teaching and fellowship, and that we will have more margin to get out of class on time and mingle before the service begins.

It is going to be a great day of celebration, as we look at Ephesians 5:1-14, which is about walking “Onward Together In Love And Light.”

I also hope you can be a part of the Night of Prayer and Praisewhich is this Saturday night.  This Saturday night at 6:30, on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, we will gather in our sanctuary to sing and pour out our hearts in prayer.  This will be a sweet time of corporate prayer for our church, our nation, and our world.

I hope to see you this Saturday night, and again on Sunday morning.  Onward Together!

By His Grace, For His Glory, To The Nations,
